Rachael Linton - Artist, Designer & Decorative Painter
Rachael Linton is a New Zealand born artist & designer living in the UK. She works as a gilder laying pure gold leaf on all manner of precious objects. Rachael has exhibited her multimedia art internationally and has created gilded art for Westminster Palace, Sir James Wallace, The Duke of Wellington, Nick Hugh McCann and more. Rachael also holds the Guinness World Record for co-designing the Medieval Mosaic, the worlds longest steel mosaic.
Rachael has a hand for fine traditional painted craftsmanship as well as Digital media. She has a Masters in visual communication design from Massey University, majoring in design animation, sound and digital video. Rachael is also a prolific digital media creator who has exhibited her immersive art installations at over 20 festival events around the UK including Brighton Digital, the Kinetica Art Fair and Mind Body Spirit festivals. She is developing an interactive therapeutic app for iphone, due to reach your eyes via the itunes app store very soon.
