JAN 2012: TRICK I-EY'E
AT THE TSB BANK WALLACE ARTS TRUST, PAH HOMESTEAD IN AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND.
This was an interactive exhibition where the viewer controlls the speed of the painting spinning on the wall BY turning a dial on a plinth. What we see with the naked eye will be different to what we see when viewing the artwork through the screen on our smartphone device.
The primal forms of the square, triangle and vesica pisces are set in logarithmic proportion and so create wonderful harmonic patterns as they spin.
The square is set in pure Gold,
The Triangle in pure Copper and
The vesica pisces in pure Silver.
To conduct the electrical energy of the artwork through to the viewer.
A multi-media peformance installation with digital media, kinetic art and dance.
